The Cambridge School believes in the enormous influence of teachers. "Living Curriculum Teachers," as we call them, are not just Christians, but mature, growing, passionate followers of Christ who desire to make a spiritual as well as academic impact. They are positive, upbeat people, who search for the best in students. They see healthy relationships with students as foundational to having meaningful influence. They believe in creating a nurturing environment, a place where every student has the opportunity to flourish. They work with parents as partners. They motivate students to reach unwavering high standards. They understand that biblical integration and academic excellence are inseparable and they continue to learn themselves. They see teaching as a high calling and are animated by the promise of Christian Classicism. When it is all said and done, Living Curriculum Teachers are people who inspire students to be passionate about pleasing God with their lives and gifts.
The Cambridge School is committed to attracting and retaining gifted and qualified Living Curriculum Teachers and staff who demonstrate a love for God, for children, and for teaching and spends a great deal of time recruiting and assessing potential educators. Then, once a teacher is hired, we commit ourselves to deepening a teacher’s understanding of Christian Classicism, and to training that teacher in classical pedagogy by having them observe at other schools, by sending them to national and regional training conferences, and by providing continual in-service learning opportunities and administrative support.
We are a growing school that will continue to need teachers for the grammar stage initially and eventually the dialectic and rhetoric stages in addition to administrative positions in development, admissions, and college counseling among other things. If you are interested in being considered for any such positions, please familiarize yourself with the School and then mail and/or email a letter of interest and a resume to:
